Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the state of teaching and learning of secondary teachers in Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20, 2) to develop teaching and learning model according to the Trisikkha Principle of secondary teachers under Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20, and 3) to propose teaching and learning model according to the Trisikkha Principle of secondary teachers under Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20. Mixed Methods Research was used for research design. The sample of quantitative research was 360 secondary teachers under Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20. In qualitative research, documentary research and in-depth Interview with 10 key informants were used, and then developed model by using focus group discussion with 10 experts. Quantitative data were analyzed by mean, percentage, and standard deviation whereas content analysis was analyzed qualitative data.
Results were shown as follows:
1. The state of teaching and learning of secondary teachers in Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20 was at high level in overall.
In descending order showed that learning activities, assessment, contents, learning media, learning facilities, and teachers, respectively.
2. Teaching and learning model according to the Trisikkha Principle of secondary teachers under Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20 consisted of 5 parts which were part 1 principles, part 2 objectives, part 3 process, part 4 utilization consisted of 1) preparation, 2) action, and 3) assessment, and part 5 the success condition.
3. Teaching and learning model according to the Trisikkha Principle of secondary teachers under Udon Thani Provincial Secondary Educational Service Area 20 composed of 5 parts which were part 1 principles, part 2 objectives, part 3 process which were 1) the composition of teachers teaching, 2) process development of teachers teaching, and 3) teaching and learning model according to the Trisikkha Principle. In part 4 utilization which were 1) preparation, 2) action, and 3) assessment. In part 5 the success condition which were the modification following the context of institute, and the cooperation between administrators, teachers, parents, and students. KPM Model was proposed as body of knowledge from research.
