Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1) to study the state of teaching and learning management, 2) to develop teaching and learning management process of charity schools in Buddhist temples in educational reform period, and 3) to propose the teaching and learning management process of charity schools in Buddhist temples in educational reform period. The mixed research methods were used in the study. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaire from 248 samples and analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were obtained by in-depth interviews with 10 experts and focus group discussions with 10 experts and then analyzed by content analysis.
The results of the study were found that:
1. The state of teaching and learning management of charity schools in Buddhist temples in 5 aspects was at a high level totally. The highest was on evaluation and measurement, followed by learning activities, learning process, cerriculum, and instructional media.
2. The development of teaching and learning management process of charity schools in Buddhist temples in educational reform period consists of teaching and learning management process in 5 aspects and teaching and learning management process in the 21st century according to the policy of Office of Basic Education Commission and National Educational Plan in educational reform period.
3. The proposed teaching and learning management process of charity schools in Buddhist temples in educational reform period is based on 6 projects supporting operation strategies in educational reform period of Office of Basic Education Commission with the aim at educational management by P2S Model.
