Abstract:
Research topic on"Buddhist Ethic: Concept, Philosophy and Process of Promoting for Peaceful Society in Buriram province" the objectives are 1) to study the concept, philosophy and Buddhist ethics concerning peace in Theravada Buddhism 2) to study the process of building a peaceful society according to Buddhist principles in Buriram province and 3)to study and analyze the Buddhist ethics and the process of building a peaceful society in Buriram province. The research is a qualitative research by studying qualitative data and collection data from group discussions then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis.
The research found that
1. The concept, philosophy and Buddhist ethics that relate to peace in Theravada Buddhism are actions or behaviors that express physical, verbal, heart, and mind, both within the mind and the external behavior expressed to suit the time, opportunity and location in dairy life.
2. The process of building a peaceful society according to the Buddhist ethics in Buriram province consists of Step 1, A good person Step 2, Good wisdom Step 3, Balanced income Step 4, Good health Step 5, Good environment Step 6, Good society Step 7, Free from criminality Step 8, Self-reliance fund Step 9, Strengthening of the village committee
3. Analyze Buddhist ethics and the process of enhancing the peaceful society in Buriram province consists of Step 1, A good person and step 7, free from criminality by keeping the precepts. Step 2, good wisdom, at this stage, the principle that is used in this process is the three wisdom. Step 3, Balanced income and Step 8 the research viewed that it was the four house-life happiness. Step 6, Good societyand step 9, strengthening of the village committee use of six directions.
