Abstract: การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาเครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาคณะสงฆ์ เพื่อรองรับการพัฒนาสังคมไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21 2) พัฒนาเครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาคณะสงฆ์เพื่อรองรับการพัฒนาสังคมไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21 3) วิเคราะห์เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษากับการพัฒนาสังคมไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21 ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ได้แก่ ผู้บริหาร ครูผู้สอน ผู้เรียน สำนักเรียนที่จัดการศึกษาพระปริยัติธรรมแผนกธรรม สำนักเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมแผนกบาลี โรงเรียนพระปริย์ติธรรมแผนกสามัญ และมหาวิทยาลัยสงฆ์ทั้ง 2แห่ง ที่ตั้งอยู่ในเขตจังหวัดขอนแก่น จำนวน 35 รูป วิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลแบบอรรถาธิบายและพรรณนาความ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาของคณะสงฆ์แบ่งออกเป็น 5 รูปแบบ คือ 1) เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาแบบตามอัธยาศัย 2) เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาพระปริยัติธรรมแผนกธรรม 3) เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาพระปริยัติธรรมแผนกบาลี 4) เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาพระปริยัติธรรมแผนกสามัญศึกษา และ 5) เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษา ซึ่งมีการจัดการศึกษาที่สอดคล้องเกื้อกูลสนับสนุนกันและกัน คณะสงฆ์ทุกระดับและประชาชนให้ความสำคัญ และมีการจัดการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาเป็นหน่วยรองรับผู้เรียนทีสำเร็จการศึกษาจากโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมทั้ง 3 แผนก มีวัตถุประสงค์และเป้าหมายที่ชัดเจนและต่อเนื่อง เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน มีการปรับตัวให้สอดคล้องกับสังคมในปัจจุบัน เพื่อรักษาและจรรโลงไว้ซึ่งการศึกษาและการค้นคว้าทางพระพุทธศาสนา มีการกำหนดวิสัยทัศน์ร่วมกันและมีความสอดคล้องไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน มีความสนใจหรือมีผลประโยชน์ร่วมกัน สมาชิกทุกภาคส่วนของคณะสงฆ์ทุกระดับมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดการศึกษาโดยมีจุดหมายบุคลากรร่วมกัน มีการเชื่อมโยง มีการสร้างความรู้สึกร่วมกัน และมีการพัฒนาระบบที่โปร่งใสตรวจสอบได้มีจุดหมายร่วมกัน มีการเสริมสร้าง เกื้อหนุนพึ่งพาและมีการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กันในเชิงแลกเปลี่ยนกันและกัน 2. การพัฒนาเครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาคณะสงฆ์เพื่อรองรับการพัฒนาสังคมไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21 โดยการพัฒนาการปกครองคณะสงฆ์ให้สามารถบูรณาการทุกมิติของการบริหารกิจการคณะสงฆ์ทั้ง 6 ด้าน เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน โดยใช้ "วัด"เป็นศูนย์กลางในการจัดการศึกษาใน 3แผนก ส่งต่อไปถึงการจัดการศึกษาระดับสูง และมีการจัดตั้งสถาบันอมรมด้านวิปัสสนากรรมฐานให้ความสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาจิตใจของพระภิกษุสามเณรผู้เป็นศาสนาทายาทเป็นสำคัญ อันเป็นการสร้างพื้นที่การทำงานให้กับพระภิกษุสามเณรเมื่อสำเร็จการศึกษาสูงสุดแล้ว 3. ผลการวิเคราะห์เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษากับการพัฒนาสังคมไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21เครือข่ายการจัดการศึกษาคณะสงฆ์ อาศัยสถาบันการศึกษาคณะสงฆ์เป็นแกนนำในการจัดการศึกษาภายใต้รูปแบบหลักสูตรและการบูรณาการร่วมกับศาสตร์สมัยใหม่ วัดและสำนักปฏิบัติธรรม เป็นเครือข่ายสนับสนุนส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามสภาพจริง เริ่มต้นจากการส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนเข้ามาบวชเรียน และส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนทั่วไปได้ร่วมปฏิบัติธรรมตามคำสั่งสอนของพระพุทธเจ้า ซึ่งวัดและสำนักปฏิบัติธรรม มีศักยภาพในการรักษาและพัฒนาทรัพยากร ที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ตามสภาพจริงของผู้เรียน วัดและสำนักปฏิบัติธรรม มีเป้าหมายเดียวกันกับคณะสงฆ์ คือจัดการศึกษาให้ผู้เรียนได้มีการพัฒนาตนเองและพัฒนาสังคม
