Abstract:
The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the smart agricultural innovations of the new generation of farmers, 2) to uplift career values for sustainable development of new generation of farmers, and 3) to propose a smart agricultural innovations model in creating and uplifting career values towards sustainable development of new agriculture. This study was a qualitative research. Data were collected from a group of 33 key informants using an interview form. Explanatory and descriptive data analysis were employed in this study.
The results showed that
1. The smart agricultural innovations of the new generation of farmers indicated that the major cost reduction procedure in the agriculture production process is cost reduction by implementing the idea of smart farming or natural agriculture by employing organic fertilizers. Including agricultural technology and innovation, as well as being ecologically friendly. To increase the quality of production standards and product standards, smart agriculture monitoring of environmental conditions is employed in conjunction with the introduction of new technology and production methods. To reduce the risk of cultivation in the agricultural sector, it applied farm management or smart agriculture concepts to farming based on the principles of sufficiency economy. For management and knowledge transfer, it was carried out by enhancing farmers' capacity to access and apply agricultural technology and innovations such as space technology and geospatial digital technology to plan agriculture and transform farmers into smart farmers with competitive capabilities.
2. For uplifting career values towards sustainable development, It was discovered that the new generation of farmers can use the information learned to their current job and be able to incorporate diverse bodies of knowledge into their work processes until they can create goods that match the quality requirements and customer needs. Skills arise from the growth of new farmers, such as growing skills for agricultural jobs, unlocking the potential of the next generation of farmers via creativity, daring to think and daring to act, all of which are applied to the agriculture sector and contemporary farming. Attitude and work habits based on the philosophy of sufficiency economy enhancing pride and security in occupation utilizing a new generation of farmers incubator to be a source of knowledge exchange for the new generation of farmers. Collaboration amongst departments to increase access to finance and marketing, communicate and promote through web marketing.
3A smart agricultural innovations model to create and uplift career values for sustainable development of the new generation of farmers revealed that at group drive, the agricultural group has a clear and formal organizational structure derived from the new agricultural concept, starting with the organizational structure of the new generation of farmers sub-district mobilization. There are guidelines for developing new farmers by expanding the body of knowledge about safe agriculture and the creation of a system of thinking processes for farmers to become professional farmers. To establish agricultural extension at the district level, beginning with the employment of agricultural extension methods and progressing to the development of a working process that integrates the activities of all relevant sectors in the target area. The operation at the provincial level in collaboration with relevant authorities in order to raise professional values toward the sustainable development of the next generation of farmers by constructing smart farming learning plots using appropriate technology in the production process. To create a huge database system to support the smart agriculture system, which will result in a strategy to build the province's smart agriculture system. This will result in Model SMART for skills, management, attitude, resources, and technology sustainability
