Abstract:
The goals of this research were to 1) investigate the situation and requirements of the Mon community's creative area development in Lamphun Province; 2) examine the model of the Mon community's creative area development in Lamphun Province; and 3 ) introduce the model and evaluation of the Mon community's creative area development model in Lamphun Province. As part of the study's research and development process, 35 participants were interviewed in-depth, which also included techniques for assessing descriptive data.
The results of the research represent as follows:
1. The conditions and requirements for the development of creative areas in Mon communities in Lamphun Province are the situation consists of information, real knowledge, expertise, and community wisdom, enabling them to develop potential or create added value in six aspects, viz., 1) the historical background of Mon communities, 2) Village Scholars: they were instructed Mon cookery, stucco, the Lanna lantern, Mon breast cloth weaving, the Mon flag or Tung, 3) Cultural traditions: There is a dress culture and use of the Mon language, and they perform their traditions throughout the continuous year. 4) Physical aspects: The Buddhist temple serves as the community's heart, and they administer the region using the knowledge and distinctive character of the community. 5) Geographical aspects: They are physically correctly positioned, and there is no pollution. 6) They have their scholars and commercial groups in the village. The need for creative space development is to increase people's income, develop people in school, construct a cooperative network, increase the community's production capacity, increase funding sources from various agencies, develop and restore cultural heritage and assets, and promote communities as cultural attractions, and build youth networks for global awareness.
2. The Mon community's creative area development concept in Lamphun Province comprises the following components: 1) Segment: identify the target audience, use in-person experience, abilities, and information to select the target group to increase the community's capability, 2) Man: refer to the willingness of people in the Mon community to advance the growth of work following the guidelines of the Mon community's competence; 3) Access refers to achieve the intended audience. 4) The availability of resources is referred to as a resource.
5) Themes: allude to advancements in space technology and innovation.
6) Approach: finding an effective practice method; 7) Organization: refer to the administration of the community by competent individuals. 8) Networking remains the process of connecting people.
3. The presentation and evaluation of the "Smart Mon Mode", the model of creative area development: The average is high; the average is high in terms of community potential; the creative area development model is acceptable and of excellent quality and the community maintains cooperation to coordinate in the similar direction.
