Abstract:
The objectives of this research were (1) To study a knowledge management of philosophers in Yaicha Community Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province; (2) To develop a knowledge management model of philosophers in the community of Yaicha, Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province; (3) To present the knowledge management model of the philosophers in the Yaicha Community, Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province by using in-depth interviews and focus group discussions.The results of the research were as follows:
1. A knowledge management of philosophers in Yaicha Community Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, currently there was no clear model; it only has been transferred from generation to generation; from parents to grandchildren, from ancestors, transferred among themselves within the family, learning by oneself since childhood. The philosophers, having knowledge, might be from self-learning, memorizing from mentors. The philosophers had to seek knowledge all the time to be able to transfer it to others.
2. A knowledge management model of philosophers in Yaicha Community Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, was found that the model was of taking the ideas of each philosophers to improve and develop together, inviting a philosophers to be a lecturer to provide knowledge, organizing methods of operation to be transferred systematically, developing oneself continuously, seeking knowledge all the time, gaining experiences for oneself to organize the knowledge, taking the ideas of each philosophers to develop together, coordinating and exchanging information with each other, disseminating knowledge to others to gain knowledge and information, coordinating with knowledge-based organizations and applying with the community.
3. To present a knowledge management model of the philosophers in Yaicha Community Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province to government agencies to formulate policies towards planning related to knowledge management, by integrating with the knowledge management committee in Yaicha sub-district. There were meetings with various agencies such as the Yaicha Sub-district Administrative Organization, temples, schools, village voluntary groups and people, etc. to create awareness, understanding and implement to achieve the objectives of knowledge management, using homes, temples, and schools as the center of the presentation. It was also defined as an indicator of success in knowledge management towards planned goals in a form of integration, bringing the participation of all parties to assist in the management of knowledge, relying on the process of developing knowledge management. The concept was used to find strengths and weaknesses; and there were checking, monitoring and evaluation of sustainable development under the participation of people.
