Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1. To study the role of volunteer spirit youth in the community of Yaicha, Samphran district, Nakhonpathom province. 2. Development of youth development process, volunteer spirit, surveillance in Yaicha community, Samphran district, Nakhonpathom 3. To present the process of youth development, volunteer spirit, surveillance of the Yaicha community, Samphran district, Nakhonpathom by using participatory action research. The data was collected from in-depth interviews and group discussions from 15 key informants and data analysis using a triangle technique.
The research results were found that
1. The role of volunteer spirit youth in surveillance in the Yaicha community is divided into 3 groups: 1. Youth living with family with their parents Youths with relatives, friends, this youth group are at risk and 3. Youth in an environment with drugs which is a very risky group involved in drugs. All three groups of youth have played roles that play an important role in surveillance in the community, which can be summarized into 3 roles as follows: 1. Provide family counseling 2. Support education career and 3. Support group for knowledge and creative activities.
2. Youth development process, volunteer spirit, community surveillance can be divided into 3 aspects: 1. Morality and ethics, 2. Youth awareness and away from drugs and 3. Motivation. With volunteerism, development activities caused changes in the community. This increased the acceptance of the youth and made the youth realize their responsibility and sacrifice to the public. Young people come to play an active role in the community, including the youths to see their self-worth from doing benefits. There are also surveillance of drugs and activities that benefit the community with fellow youths. No longer involved in drugs, people in the community turn to take care of vulnerable youth. To create good participation and interaction between people in the community and youth groups and co-build immunity. A comprehensive collaborative process for community leaders, villagers and youth has been established to prevent weaknesses and create a protective barrier to prevent drug access to the community.
3. Youth volunteer development process ralated all 7 roles of youth volunteering. It is also in line with the youth development process, volunteering to monitor the dangers in the community. The growing acceptance of young people from the community has made them more aware of their responsibility and self-sacrifice. Youth come to play an active role in the community, including the youth see self-worth when they do benefit. They monitored the dangers ofdrugs and persuaded fellow youths to do activities that benefit the community.Do not get involved with drugs again. As a result, people in the community turnto take care of vulnerable youth. To create good participation and interactionbetween people in the community and youth groups collaborate from all sectorsto jointly build knowledge and understanding, good attitude, perform dutiesefficiently and completely in line with the event. Therefore believe that we willbe able to eliminate the drug problem completely.
