Abstract: การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ข้อ 1. เพื่อศึกษาภัยของพระภิกษุผู้บวชใหม่ในพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท 2. เพื่อศึกษาหลักปาริสุทธิศีล๔ ในพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท 3. เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์การศึกษาวิเคราะห์หลักปริสุทธิศีล 4 เพื่อป้องกันภัยของพระภิกษุผู้บวชใหม่ในพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภิกษุพึงรักษาศีลพระปาติโมกข์อย่างเคร่งครัด ไม่ละเมิดสิกขาบทที่พระพุทธเจ้าทรงบัญญัติไว้ดีแล้ว มีความสำรวมระวังในอินทรียสังวร เพื่อเป็นเครื่องป้องกันภัยอันตรายต่าง ๆ ที่ จะเกิดขึ้นกับภิกษุ รู้จักพอประมาณในการบริโภคอาหาร มีความสันโดษ แสวงหาอาหารด้วยความสุจริต ไม่หลอกลวงชาวบ้าน พิจารณาเห็นอาหารเป็นสิ่งปฏิกูล น่าเกลียด ไม่ควรฉันอาหารให้มากจนเกินไป ทำให้เกิดโรคอ้วน ทำให้ภิกษุมรณภาพโดยมาก ในแต่ละปี ภิกษุพึงมีความสำรวมระวังในการมองเห็น สตรีนุ่งห่มสั้นไม่เรียบร้อย ทำให้จิตมีราคะ มีความกำหนัด เกิดความกระสัน ไม่สามารถระงับจิตใจได้ พระเถระสอนให้เจริญ กายคตาสติ มีสติพิจารณาว่า ร่างกาย 32 อาการของมนุษย์ไม่สะอาด เป็นสิ่งปฏิกูล ส่งกลิ่นเหม็น เป็นที่น่ารังเกียจ ให้ภิกษุพิจารณา ซากศพอันจะเกิดขึ้นกับตนเองและผู้อื่น ทำให้เกิดความเบื่อหน่ายในกองสังขาร ทำให้คลายความยึดมั่นถือมั่นในสังขารร่างกายว่าไม่สวยงาม ว่าสวยงาม เมื่อจิตคลายกำหนัด ก็ทำให้จิตหลุดพ้นจากอาสวะกิเลส เป็นพระอริยบุคคลไม่เกี่ยวข้องยินดีกับสตรี ทำให้ดำรงเพศเป็นบรรพชิตอยู่ในพระพุทธศาสนาได้ตลอดไป
