Abstract:
The study consisted of the following objectives: 1) to investigate the conditions of human relations of administrators and communities of opportunity expansion schools; 2) to compare the opinions of administrators and education committee on the human relations of administrators and communities of opportunity expansion schools, classified by personal factors; and 3) to propose the guidelines for building human relations of administrators and communities based on Sārāṇīyadhamma of opportunity expansion schools in Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province. The study used a Descriptive Research. A sample group of 167 persons was determined using Krejcie & Morgan formula. The research instrument for the study was a questionnaire with a reliability scale of .95. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), and One-way ANOVA. The qualitative data were collected with 12 key informants. The acquired data were analyzed by way of content analysis.
From the study, the following results have been found:
1) The conditions of human relations of administrators and communities of opportunity expansion schools are found to be overall at a high level. When all aspects are considered, all three aspects are found to be at a high level which are: (1) Knowing oneself; (2) Understanding a good environment; and (3) Understanding others.
2) The comparison of the conditions of human relations of administrators and communities of opportunity expansion schools in Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province is carried out by classifying the personal factors, and is found that a group sample with different genders, educational levels, and experiences has different opinions, while a sample group with different ages and positions has no difference in opinions.
3) The guidelines for building human relations of administrators and communities based on Sārāṇīyadhamma of opportunity expansion schools in Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province are found as follows: (1) On self-understanding, in which the school administrators should study and understand their roles an duties. The basic education committee should engage in the operation based on the common good of the society and communities; (2) On understanding others, in which administrators should observe and consider the differences of each subordinate in order to appropriately assign work to accept or handle each subordinate based on their differences. Administrators should also organizing trainings for subordinates to develop their knowledge and skills depending on each ones expertise; and (3) On having a good environment, in which the administrators should develop the environment so that it is clean, shady, safe, favorable to learning, and all subordinates can co-utilize it happily.
