Abstract:
This dissertation entitled Sustainably Marketing Development for Enhancing Product Distribution Channel of Raksantisuk Community Enterprise by Buddhist Peaceful Means has three objectives: (1) to analytical study the states of problem, problems and needs of Raksantisuk Community Enterprise and the theory of sustainable development of community enterprises, (2) to study the principles of Buddhist Peaceful Means which is conducive to the sustainable market development of Raksantisuk Community Enterprises, and (3) to develop sustainable marketing to enhancing product distribution channel of Raksantisuk Community Enterprises by Buddhist Peaceful Means. This research employed the documentary research and In-dept Interview with six key Informants who were the community leaders and people collecting from members of Raksantisuk Community Enterprise in Prang Ku district and then content analysis was done through descriptive method by means of integrating the Deming Cycle-PDCA Model with research methodology.
The results of this research are:
1) Raksantisuk Community Enterprises sell paddy as their main product where the problem is obviously caused by the existing marketing channel of the middle marketers resulting in fixing the price by the owners of product giving rise to uncertainty of income and thereby precipitating the loss of one own capital. Moreover, most of the owners lack knowledge on the alternative marketing channel where the community enterprises can bring about the sustainable development to Thailand which are running through two levels: (1) legal, and (2) national and international strategic plans. These two levels need to be systematically integrated from the national to the international level where three principles called the 3Ps, People-Planet-Profit are required whereby the sustainability of market would be created.
2) Buddhist Peaceful Means are suitable and conducive to the sustainability of market development of Raksantisuk Community Enterprises where the philosophy of sufficiency economy based on seven kinds of Sappurisa-Dhamma will purify ones mind while living household life where defilement would be got rid of as follows: (1) reducing Lobha by moderation (Mattaññutà), (2) reducing Dosa by reasonableness (Dhammaññutâ, Atthaññutâ, (3) reducing Moha by Attaññutâ, Kâlaññutâ, Parisaññutâ, Puggalaññutâ, (4) being wise by knowledge, and (5) observing virtues by Sĩla.
3) It was found that as far as the sustainability of market where the enhancing of community enterprises selling channel through the Buddhist Peaceful Means is concerned, the mixed methodological research is done by a researcher through In-depth interview, Focus Group and documentary study including Field action wherein the integration of the sustainability of marketing would be provided whereby it should be comprised of the followings: the output was called KHAOSUK MODEL, the integration of Sustainably Marketing Development Principles from Western concepts - 3Ps, Eastern concept - Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, Buddhist concept Sustainable Development Principle of Somdet Phra Buddhaghosacâraya (P.A. Payutto). The mentioned model had three goals comprising in seven steps: Goal No.1, People, were step 1 Knowledge - Create a Cause of Knowledge, step 2 Happiness - Know the Fruits of Happiness. Goal No.2, Planet, were step 3 Action - Do It Yourself, step 4 Occur - Appropriate or Moderate, step 5 Season Timely. Goal No.3, Profit, were step 6 Unity - Identity, step 7 Keep Right Channels. Finally, after implementing KHAOSUK MODEL, members of Raksantisuk Community Enterprise had launched a new product of Organic Thai Hom Mali Rice names KHAOSUK, it could be sold through various distribution channels both offline and online which help them to start a new career, changing from selling paddy which are usually unprofitable while selling Organic Thai Hom Mali Rice which could earn more profit and could expand to various of distribution channels. So, it was proved that KHAOSUK MODEL can be utilized as a tool to achieve sustainable development in the long run.
