Abstract:
The research entitled A Study of the Learning Achievement in Buddhism Subject According to Iddhipāda for the 3rd Secondary School Students of Buddhasat Wittaya School, Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok applied an experimental research method with the following objectives: 1) to study the learning achievement according to Iddhipāda of the 3rd secondary school students; 2) to find out the learning achievement by applying Iddhipāda in the learning of students at Buddhasat Wittaya School, Bangkok Noi district, Bangkok; and 3) to suggest the information on the learning of students at Buddhasat Wittaya School, Bangkok Noi district, Bangkok. The research instruments were lesson plan, pretest, and posttest. A population consisted of 30 students from the 3rd secondary school by means of purposive sampling.
The results of the research are as follows:
1) The learning management according to Iddhipāda for the 3rd secondary school students at Buddhasat Wittaya School, Bangkok Noi district, Bangkok is found to have a pretest equal to x̅ = 14.13 with a standard deviation (S.D.) is 2.770 which is lower than the means. The posttest is found to have a means of x̅ = 20.1 with a standard deviation (S.D.) at 3.415. This represents that the learning achievement of the posttest is higher than the pretest.
2) From the research results, the suggestion found is that Iddhipāda should be integrated with the learning in various subjects based on the reason that the posttest has a higher score than the pretest with a statistical significance at 0.05, which is higher than the set assumption.
