Abstract:
The study entitled The Learning Management Based on Group Dynamics Process for Developing the Learning Achievement in Buddhism Subject for the 2nd Secondary School Students, Wat Suthachinda School, Nakhon Ratchasima was a pre-experimental research through the one group pretest posttest design. A sample group was acquired by means of purposive sampling and consisted of the 2nd secondary school students of Wat Suthachinda School, in a total of 1 classroom and 28 persons. The researcher had operated the experiment throughout the 2nd semester per academic year B.E. 2563 with the following objectives: to study the learning management based on group dynamics process, to develop the learning achievement, and to propose suggestions on the learning management based on group dynamics process in Buddhism subject for the 2nd secondary school students of Wat Suthachinda School. The research instruments were the learning management plan on Buddhism of the 14th learning unit and the achievement test on the learning management based on the group dynamics process, in a total of 30 questions.
The results of the research are as follows:
1) The results of learning management based on group dynamics process for developing the learning achievement in Buddhism subject for the 2nd secondary school students of Wat Suthchinda School found that the good relationship among members is made because students cooperate in working together as a group, take equal part in giving opinions and taking action, help and support one another. Moreover, students get to brainstorm and bring the obtained information to contemplate together for the most appropriate answer. They also get to train their communication and teamwork skills. All of which promotes higher learning achievement.
2) The results from comparing the pretest and posttest of learning achievement after the use of learning management based on group dynamics process for developing the learning achievement in Buddhism subject for the 2nd secondary school students of Wat Suthchinda School found that pretest has a mean (x̅) equal to 10.93 with a standard deviation (S.D.) at 1.923. While posttest has a mean (x̅) equal to 24.54 with a standard deviation (S.D.) at 2.219. When comparing between the pretest and posttest of the learning achievement, it is found that the posttest has a higher score than pretest with a statistical significance at 0.05 according to the assumption set.
3) The suggestions on the learning management based on group dynamics process in Buddhism subject for the 2nd secondary school students of Wat Suthachinda School are found as follows:
3.1 Activity or work prepared for students must be challenging, motivating, or attracting students so that they will have fun in doing that work and activity. It is important that the work or activity must not be too hard or complicated than the students potential to handle or accomplish.
3.2 Teachers must examine the contents for students in order to identify the scope and improve the lessons to be suitable for the students. Teachers should also eliminate potential obstacles, lessen the uncertainty, and dissatisfaction of students in the contents in order to maximize the efficiency in learning.
3.3 Tests or exercises should be made in a range of variety.
3.4 The learning evaluation must be made based on reality in order to create the desirable characteristics of students.
