Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: to study the effectiveness of the lesson package, compare academic achievement and study the students satisfaction with the lesson package on Buddhist duties by the active learning management (MIAP) of lower secondary school students in Phrapariyattidhamma Pacchimawan Vitthaya School, Amnatcharoen Province. The sample consisted of 17 first year lower secondary school students, selected by purposive sampling. The research tools were: 1) volume lessons, 2) a four multiple-choices test, 30 items, and 3) a satisfaction test with the lesson package, 10 items. The statistics used for the data analysis were: Mean ( ), Standard Deviation (S.D.), and t-test.
The research results were as follows:
1) The effectiveness of the lesson package on Buddhist duties by the active learning management (MIAP) of lower secondary school students in Phrapariyattidhamma Pacchimawan Vitthaya School, Amnatcharoen Province was 81.91/87.45, higher than the set criteria of 80/80.
2) For the learning achievement of students who study with the lesson package between the scores before and after class, the mean score from taking the pre-test was 16.88 and the standard deviation was 0.93, and the mean score after class was 26.22 and the standard deviation was 1.48. This means a learning achievement score with a lesson package on Buddhist duties after class were significantly higher than that of pre-test at the level of 0.05.
3) The satisfaction of students with the lesson package on Buddhist duties in overall, it was at a high level ( = 3.81). Considering in details, it was found that there were only two aspects rated in the moderate level: the eighth and tenth.
