Abstract:
The research entitled "The Development of Life Quality according to The
Buddhist Approach of Employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate" aimed to study
the life quality of employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate, to propose the
guideline in developing the life quality according to the Buddhist approach of
employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate, and to suggest the strategy for the
development of life quality of employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate
according to the Buddhist approach. The samplings in this research were executives
and employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate via the distribution of 243
questionnaires and interviewed executives and employees from 3 companies with
the total number of 28 persons who were the key-informants. The research tools
used were questionnaire and in-depth interview. The results were:
1 . The life quality of employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate was
found that the population had the life quality of physical aspect in good level,
mental aspect in good level, social relationship aspect in middle level, environmental
aspect in middle level, and the overall aspect of life quality in middle level.
2. The guideline in developing the life quality according to the Buddhist
approach of employees in Chachoengsao Industrial Estate was found that there must
consist of the principles of the 6 Saraniya Dhamma, the 4 Sangahavatthu, the 5 Ayusa
Dhamma, the 7 Sappaya, the Sati Sampajanna, Samadhi, and Panna. If a person
obtained a self-practice according to the aforementioned principles, then he or she
could develop the life quality and valued to live together in the society with
happiness, to be able to face problems and obstacles which would lead to the
successful life and work.
3. The strategy for the development of life quality of employees in
Chachoengsao Industrial Estate according to the Buddhist approach consisted of 4
which were Strategy 1: the development of life quality in physical and mental
aspects aimed for the employees of industrial estate to have physical and mental
health perfectly and strongly by following the Buddhist way of life; Strategy 2: the
development of life quality in working aspect aimed for the employees to work
efficiently with morality and motivation in working, to reinforce a good working
environment, and to facilitate the employees in working effectively; Strategy 3: the
building of learning organization aimed for being an organization in learning with the
employees who acquired knowledge and understanding about the knowledge
management system; and Strategy 4: the building of moral network aimed for
building and expanding of moral network party to participate in supporting the
morality, assigning the policy, and targeting with objectivity in the development of life
quality for employees according to the Buddhist approach.
