Abstract:
The purposes of this research were (1) analyzing the cultural heritage management
procession of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province, (2) designing ofinnovative development method to cultural heritage management of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province, (3) creating the model innovation in cultural heritage management of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province. This research was an operational research with the important data obtained from in-depth interviews and specific group discussions from monks under the temples located in the floating market community area, personnel of government agencies or educational institutions, community leaders/mass organization leaders, entrepreneurs / business owners in the floating market community area in Ratchaburi province by a specific random method according to the characteristics of representation of an appropriate sample group totaling 23 people. The data were analyzed by trying to maintain the original phrases in order to serve as a base for analysis and design the model for innovation in cultural heritage management of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province that consistent with community's need then tested with 30 participants who were volunteers from floating market then analyzing the performance process by each indicator together with reference statistics to find the fact from the practice of the form of action research.
The findings of this research as following:
1. The cultural heritage management procession of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province found that the strength was having Buddhism as a tool to raise awareness in conservation, etc., the weakness was lacking of awareness of conservation of the youth in the area, etc., the opportunity was that the government had a policy to support the conservation of cultural heritage, etc., and the obstacle was lacking of supporting the government personnel with skills in cultivating a conscience for conservation of cultural heritage, etc.
2. The designing of innovative development method to cultural heritage management of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province found that the innovative development method to cultural heritage management of the floating-market community that compatible with community's need was an innovation community cultural heritage learning resource management in Damnoen Saduak floating market as a model of exhibiting innovation of cultural heritage in Damnoen Saduak community at Watchotthayakaram Museum by applying modern innovative technology to enhance the learning of cultural heritage in a creative way which was not a change in traditional culture but upgrade management or management methods with modern innovation itself.
3. The model innovation in cultural heritage management of the floating-market community in Ratchaburi province was an innovation community cultural heritage learning resource management in Damnoen Saduak floating market as a model of exhibiting innovation of cultural heritage in Damnoen Saduak community at Watchotthayakaram Museum, Damnoen Saduak district, Ratcgaburi province which was characterized as a unified QR Code system that linked to YouTube and a website that stored information about the history of Damnoen Saduak canal, culture and people's way of life and presented stories about the cultural heritage like an electronic museum and revitalized the Watchotthayikaram Museum as a "Living Museum". However, the results of the field testing found that the results of the assessment of performance by indicators were contextual evaluation, input factor evaluation, process evaluation, and productivity evaluation results were found to be at high level in all aspects.
