Abstract:
The purposes of this research are: 1) To survey the tourist temples on the friendly design in upper north 2) To study and develop the tourism route according to the motto of the merit path of nine prosperity temples in Lampang Province and the development model of friendly design on the tourist temples in footsteps of Kruba Chao Sriwichai in Lamphun Province 3) To present the model and applications of
tourist temples on the friendly design in upper north. The tools were documents, questionnaires, in-depth interviews, focus group discussion and operating action. The sampling group of questionnaire amount 400 people, in-depth interviews amount 76 persons and presentation of the travel route through media.
The result of study found that,
The famous tourist area in the upper north amount 40 areas that are ready on the walkway/railing for 100.00% accounted, standard bathroom for 67.50% accounted, parking for 40.00% accounted and the basic aid equipment for 22.50% accounted.
Management on the friendly design with tourist opinion survey found that, the tourists travel for recreation by studying the Internet, like to travel in holidays about once a month with family, like to take local food, spend money for food/snack/drink, like to travel by private car, to live in hotel and the cost of traveling about 3-5 thousand baht. The factors of convenience on friendly design as all genders and ages can entry to necessary places.
The process of creating a space on friendly design can be divided into two things as; 1) management of the old tourist places, that be ready with physical, tourist management, community participation, conservation and promotion of arts and culture 2) management of two creative areas: 2.1) promoting tourism on the motto, beliefs and merit of the nine prosperity temples in Lampang Province, the arises from the factors of belief/faith, the beauty of Buddhist art, community participation, supporting of network and to reach/response of tourists 2.2) The development of nine temples was built by Kruba Srivichai, that created activities to promote traditional tourism and local culture, to praise and express gratitude to him. And to present the application of "Lanna The City of Creative Art" for providing to an information, route of creative activity and to get the tourist place safe and fast.
Therefore, the model of tourist Buddhist temples on friendly design should get create activities for stimulating to travel and to participate in creative space. The network and communities must create an impression of information and accessibility that is convenient, safe and welcome to tourists of all ages. It will help to the standard on the absolutely value of tourist friendly design.
