The State of factors affecting the morale of primary school teachers in Amphoe Suan Phueng and Kingamphoe ban kha under retchaburi provincial primary education office
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to find out the levels of the states of factors affecting morale of primary school teachers in Amphoe Suan Phueng and Kingamphoe Ban Kha under Ratchaburi Provincial Primary Education Office according to genders and work experiences. The sample subjects used in the study were 201 primary school teachers in Amphoe Suan Phueng and Kingamphoe Ban Kha under Ratchaburi Provincial Primary Education Office, chosen by stratified random sampling. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire consisted of 2 parts : rating-scale checklist questions and open-ended questions. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, and analysis of variance were used to analyze the data.
The findings of the study were as follows:
1. The factors that affected the morale of primary school teachers in Amphoe Suan Phueng and Kingamphoe Ban Kha under Ratchaburi Provincial Primary Education Office, which were viewed at high levels could be ranked in order from higher to lower levels like this relationship of teachers and administrators, status satisfaction of teachers, their job satisfaction, relationship among colleagues, attitudes on educational supports from the community and social expectations. Those viewed at the medium levels could also be ranked, respectively, as satisfactions which curriculum, buildings and services, task load, and salary.
2. Comparing morale according to different genders and work experiences, it was found that the differences were not significant. However, teachers with over 30 years experiences are more satisfied with their responsibilities than those with under 10 years experiences. That is, the differences of experiences were significant at the level of 0.5 on job satisfaction.
