Abstract:
The one group pre-test, post-test quasi-experimental design was employed in this routine to research study. The study purposes were 1) to develop learning media on QR-Code regarding devices in nursing laboratory of School of Nursing, University of Phayao; 2) to compare between pre-score and post-score of knowledge among second year nursing students after usage of the learning media; and 3) to investigate nursing students satisfaction on the learning media usage. Participants were 115 volunteering second year nursing students who enrolled in the Basic Concept and Principles of Nursing 2 subject of semester 1, academic year 2018. Research instruments were the learning media on QR-Code regarding devices in nursing laboratory, the knowledge of usage of the learning media questionnaire, and the satisfaction on the learning media usage questionnaire. All instruments were tested for content validity and reliability. Data were collected using the instruments. Demographic data and satisfaction scores were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and pre- and post-knowledge scores after the learning media usage were compared using paired t-test. The results showed that 1) The mean score of knowledge after the learning media usage was statistically significant higher than that of knowledge before the usage (p <. 001).; and 2) The mean score of overall satisfaction was very high ( = 4.25, S.D. = .55). In terms of each component, the mean score of satisfaction regarding benefits was very high (= 4.4 5, S.D. = .55) , while that of satisfaction regarding content and that of satisfaction regarding format and presentation were high ( = 4.17, and 4.17 แ ล ะ 4.17, S.D. = .58,and .62).
