Abstract:
Fusarium oxysporum is the primary cause of pumpkin wilt. The study was conducted to test the ability of the disease effect on germination, root length and the height of the pumpkin in the seedling stage. The results were revealed that the soaked pumpkin seeds with suspended fungus spores for 20 minutes had the highest germination rate at 96.00 % . The root length of pumpkin plants in 7 days showed that the soaked seeds in sterilized water had largest root length at 13.43 cm. The height of the pumpkin plants in 7 days showed that the soaked pumpkin seeds with suspended fungus spores for 10 minutes had caused by Thong Lanna 1. The Thong Lanna 1 pumpkin with the second method was the highest rate with 86.50 % to cause the disease, followed by method 4, 3 and 1 that caused disease level at 78.10, 61.11 and 26.33 % , respectively. Moreover, the thong Lanna 2 for method 2 caused the highest-level diseases at 95.40 %, followed by method 3, 4 and 1 that caused disease level at 91.66, 85.55 and 28.16 %, respectively. Finally, Thong Lanna 4 in the method 2 also was created the highest disease level at 84.55% , followed by method 4, 3 and 1 that caused disease level at 71.28, 60.88 and 23.25 %, respectively.
