Abstract:
This study begins with the study of the problems
and research related to remote laboratories. It then analyzes
and synthesizes relevant research, examining the composition of
remote laboratories. By creating a synthetic table and
summarizing the results of the research, it was found that a
remote laboratory consisted of 5 elements: 1. Remote access. 2.
Server 3. Equipment 4. Monitoring and 5. Practice, thereby
creating a learning experience. Students can access a Lab
Management Platform with laboratory management tools
which can support the interaction of learners and instructors.
This is the result of integrating technical and teaching
laboratories into learning systems in order to support remote
learners. As a result of the synthesis of the laboratory
management platform elements, there are 4 features: 1. Login
System 2. Learning Management System 3. Booking System and
4. Interactive Communication. This study is a review of the
research related to the means by which it is possible to create
the correct tools and learning environment in order to develop
higher education students in such a way as to prepare them for
the new situations they will face in an ever-changing future in
the digital economy.
