Abstract: The heat transfer of a pipe has been analyzed for a uniform entrance temperature laminar fluid flow. Specifically, the description corresponds to an extended Graetz problem that addresses forced convection heat transfer boundary. The primary forced convection boundary in the study was the mean bulk temperature of the viscous fluid, accounting for the entire range of Biot numbers ranging from 0 to 100. An exact solution in terms of an infinite Graetz series to the extended Graetz problem is represented by a nonlinear partial differential equation, considering two space variables, two boundary conditions, and one initial condition
