Abstract:
The objective of the research study was to represent the problems that people with colour blindness face in their life: the trouble in their daily life and their limited paths for their dream and jobs. This 3-minute 3D animation compared the perspective of normal peoples view to what colour-blind people see. The primary target audience of this project was people from 12 to 40 years old. The project was to help people to understand about colour blind people better. For those with colour blindness, it is hard to be recognized outside, but they also need some help and encouragement. The story was about a girl who got an accident and woke up with colour blindness. She had to adapt herself to the new life with her colour-blind eyes. She was bullied because of colour blindness. She felt disheartened about her drawing and was about to give up. However, she got some help from her friend and decided to continue her dream. Although she saw things differently from normal people, she wanted to keep on following her dream. The storytelling focused on the picture and music. There is no dialogue, so it can be presented worldwide. According to the questionnaire from 30 from 12 to 40 years old, it revealed that they understood about colour blindness better and wanted to help colour blind people.
