Abstract: การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1) เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะและทักษะการเป็นผู้นำสถานศึกษาในด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติ (2) เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการของผู้นำสถานศึกษาในด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติ ประชากรที่ศึกษา ได้แก่ ผู้นำสถานศึกษาในด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติ ของมหาวิทยาลัยในภูมิภาคเอเชีย จำนวน 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ เป็นเครื่องมือในการศึกษาเพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูล และครอบคุลมตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษา และการเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมของการจัดการศึกษานานาชาติใช้กระบวนการการสังเกตการซักถามและการจดบันทึก และการใช้แบบสอบถามผู้วิจัยใช้เครื่องมือนี้สำหรับกลุ่มผู้นำสถานศึกษาสำหรับศึกษาคุณลักษณะและทักษะผู้นำสถานศึกษา รวมถึงแบบสัมภาษณ์ในด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติในภูมิภาคเอเชีย เพื่อรองรับการเปิดประชาคมอาเซียน สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และนำมาวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนานา (Descriptive Analysis) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความคิดเห็นของผู้นำสถานศึกษาเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะและทักษะการเป็นผู้นำสถานศึกษาในด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติ โดยรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับมากและความคิดเห็นของผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะและทักษะการเป็นผู้นำสถานศึกษาในด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติ โดยรวมและรายด้านทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับมากเช่นกันในส่วนความต้องการเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะและทักษะการเป็นผู้นำสถานศึกษาในการจัดการศึกษานานาชาติของมหาวิทยาลัยในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ด้านคุณลักษณะเฉพาะตัว พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างต้องการผู้นำที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ มีความเป็นผู้นำการเปลี่ยนแปลง และมีความสามารถพิเศษรอบด้าน ด้านทักษะและความรู้ความสารถในการปฏิบัติงาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างต้องการผู้นำที่สามารถสร้างผลงานในการเขียนบทความทางวิชาการเพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างให้แก่ครูและบุคลากรทางการศึกษาได้ และสามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารและการศึกษาค้นคว้า และด้านประสบการณ์และผลสำเร็จในการปฏิบัติงาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างต้องการผู้นำที่สามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้รับจากการศึกษาดูงานและการบอรมต่าง ๆ มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาโรงเรียนให้มีคุณภาพ เป็นที่ยอมรับของชุมชน และความต้องการด้านการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรนานาชาติ มีการเสนอแนะว่า ควรมีหลักสูตรเพิ่มขึ้นในระดับปริญญาตรีเพื่อสนองตอบความต้องการของนักเรียนศึกษาที่จะเข้ามาเลือกเรียนในหลักสูตรนานาชาติของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ และควรมีการปรับปรุงและพัฒนาหลักสูตรนานาชาติให้สอดคล้องกับความก้าวหน้าทางสังคมในปัจจุบัน The objectives of this research were: 1) to study characteristics and leadership skills of school leaders in international education management; and 2) to study the needs of school leaders in international education management. The population of this study were 400 school leaders in international education management of universities in Asia. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and participation in international education management activities. Further, a questionnaire was also applied with school leaders for information concerning characteristics and leadership skills. In addition, key informants were interviewed about international education program to support the coming of ASEAN community. The collected data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Findings are presented and analyzed descriptively. The study found that the overall opinion of school leaders according to characteristics and leadership skills in international education management was at a high level. Additionally, the study also showed that the overall opinion of people who are involved in international education management according to characteristics and leadership skills of school leaders was also at a high level. Owing to the study about the needs of characteristics and leadership skill of school leaders in international education program of Asian universities, the study revealed that the sample needs a visionary and transformational leader with special skills. According to the working skills, the sample showed that the participations require leaders who can use English language for communication and contribute to the writing of academic article as a role model for teachers and educational personnel. According to experience and success in the work, the participants showed that they need school leaders who can apply knowledge and experience received from the study visit and training for a school development. Finally, according to the need of international education program, it is recommended that there should be an additional bachelor’s degree program in order to meet the needs of students enrolled in international program at Rajabhat Universities, the international curriculum should be developed based on a current situation of the world.
