ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to study species diversity and the usage of medicinal plants from traditional healers in Chanuman Districts, Amnat charoen Province. This study was conducted during November 2019 - January 2020. The data was collected by propulsive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were used for interviewed 20 traditional healers in 7 villages. Total of 20 The results found 288 species belonging to 196 genera 82 familes (51 unidentified species). Fabaceae was the highest medicinal plant number with 21 species followed by Rubiaceae 13 species. The most part used of medicinal plant was root 154 species (53%). The method for preparation was boiling and drink 239 species (82%). The most sources of medicinal plant was community forest 141 species (49%) followed by home garden with 75 species (26%). Tree was the most habit of medicinal plants in this study with 97 species (33.6%) followed by herb and shrub in equal number with 68 species (23.6%). Total 30 aliments were found in this study. The highest of Informant consensus factor (FIC) was fever and cough (3.58). The highest of Use value (UV) was Bauhinia strychnifolia Craib and Curcuma longa L. (0.55). That used for diabetes, tonic and Indigestion respectively.
