Factors Affecting Potential According to Village Health Volunteer 4.0 Policy of Village Health Volunteers Sridonchai Subdistrict Chiangkhong District Chiang Rai Province
Abstract:
This descriptive research aimed to study 1) demographic characteristics, technology acceptance and use, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and potential of village health volunteers (VHVs) according to VHVs 4.0 policy, 2) factors related to VHVs' potential according to VHV 4.0 policy and 3) factors predicted potential according to VHVs 4.0 policy of VHVs in Sridonchai subdistrict, Chiang Khong district, Chiang Rai province.The sample consisted of 145 VHVs by using stratified random sampling method. Tool was questionnaire. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics; frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and inferential statistics; Chi-squared test, Pearson Product Moment Correlation and multiple regression. The results revealed that most of the respondents were female (63.40%), aged between 50-59 years (48.30%), marital status (84.10%), duration of being VHV was less than 10 years (40.70%), finished primary school (43.40%), farming (55.90%), monthly income less than 5,000 baht (55.90%) and no other position (89.70%). The average score of technology acceptance and use, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and potential according to the VHV 4.0 policy were at high level. Factors both related and predicted VHV's potential according VHV 4.0 policy were technology acceptance and use, job satisfaction, organizational commitment. Predicting equation created was "VHVs 4.0 policy = 0.313 + 0.165 (organizational commitment) + 0.273 (job satisfaction) + 0.431 (technology acceptance and use) with 67 predictable percent.
