Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of factors affecting success in school administration; 2) to study the success level in school administration; and 3) to study the factors affecting success in administration of schools under the supervision of Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. Five-rating scale questionnaire was used as a research instrument for data collection. Data were analyzed using statistics to deternine frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The major findings indicated as follows: 1) overall factors affecting the success of school administration were at a high level. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean was school administrators, followed by teachers and educational personnel and lastly, students with the lowest mean. 2) Overall success in school administration was at a high level. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean was student development, followed by development of teachers and educational personnel and, lastly community participation with the lowest mean. 3) Factors affecting the success of administration of schools under the supervision of Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 were school administrators, teachers and educational personnel, schools, and participation with predictive efficiency of 74.30%.
