Development guidelines of information technology in the new normal era for teachers of the sisters of saint paul de chartres's schools in Lop Buri province
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the current and desirable conditions of the teachers' information technology used in the new normal era of the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartress schools in Lop Buri Province, and 2) to study guidelines for the development of teachers' information technology used in the new normal era of the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartress schools in Lop Buri Province.
The research population was 216 teachers of the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartress schools in Lop Buri Province in the 2020 academic year including 5 experts in technology. The research instruments were questionnaires with a double-response format by using 5-level rating scale and a structured interview. The statistics used in this research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, need index, and the interview forms using content analysis.
The research results revealed that 1) the overall current and desirable conditions of the teachers' information technology used in the new normal era of the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartress schools in Lop Buri Province were at a high level, and 2) the guidelines for the development of teachers' information technology used in the new normal era of the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartress schools in Lop Buri Province in terms of routine work and management were the highest need. The suggested guidelines include: (1) schools should conduct classroom action research and academic work through the use of information technology required as part of the indicators for assessing teacher performance and making the teachers realize the importance of work, including applying the research results of information technology used as the indicators and the guidelines for effective problem solving at work. (2) Teachers should study the use of information technology and apply the knowledge in developing other essential school work and improving quality.
