Abstract:
This research aims to 1) study the level of the creative leadership of the school administrators 2) to compare the creative leadership of the school administrators according to the variables of genders, ages, education, and experiences, and 3) investigate the methods of developing the creative leadership of the school administrators, Primary Educational Service Pattani Province Area 2. The samples of this study were 277 teachers in Primary Educational Service Pattani Province Area 2 selected by applying the table of Krejcie and Morgan and proportional sampling without replacement. The five survey was employed as a research tool divided into three sections. The tool has been validated through Index of Objective Congruence (IOC) scored between 0.67-1.00, and the reliability by Cronbachs alpha coefficient scored 0.971. The collected data were, then, analyzed and shown in percentages, means, standard deviation, t-test scores, F-test scores and Scheffes Method ANOVA
The research findings are as follows:
1.the level of the creative leadership of the school administrators, Primary Educational Service Pattani Province Area 2 had overall level of very x-= 3.58, S.D.= 0.35 and each component of the level of the creative leadership of the school administrators, Primary Educational Service Pattani Province Area 2 at the level of very in all components, namely flexibility at x−= 3.66, S.D. = 0.48, vision at x−= 3.61, S.D. = 0.59, and teamwork at x = 3.58, S.D. = 0.35 which was the least.
2.the comparison of the creative leadership of the school administrators, Primary Educational Service Pattani Province Area 2 according to the components of genders, and overall components had no difference similarly to the variable of ages. However, there was a significance difference at .01 in terms of motivation. The experiences and overall income. Interestingly, there were both overall and each component statistic significant difference of the size of the school at 0.01. Scheffes Method ANOVA found that there was a pair of ages between 31-40 years old and 41-50 years old which had statistically significant difference at .01. There was no difference of the component of educational background. In contrast, working as a team had been found statistically significant difference at .05. There was no overall significant difference in terms of working experience while each component of motivation and working as a team had statistically significant difference at .05. Scheffes Method ANOVA found there was a pair which had statistically significant difference at .05 which were teachers with less than five year teaching experience and more than eleven year teaching experience while Scheffes Method ANOVA found there was no difference in terms of working as a team as there was little difference of its mean score which cannot be analyzed.
3.The results shows that the schools administrators, Primary Educational Service Pattani Province Area 2 should have far-reaching vision which can visualize the possibility of the future development. In terms of flexibility, the administrators should provide various methods for solving problems, not clinging to the same methods, and give chances to the staff for freely expressing their ideas. In terms of imagination, the administrators are expected to be brilliant who can apply all resources for the benefits of creating any innovation for schools. The results also suggest that the administrators should creatively encourage and apply the friendly communication skills while communicating with staff. The administrators are also suggested to be not only a good team player who can support all the staff understand, engage, and cooperate to each other, but a good coordinator.
