The Results of Using Davies Instructional Model for Psychomotor Domain in Dramatic Arts Subject in Ban Laem Dramatic Style Dance for Secondary 2 (Grade 8) Students of Wat Pa Pruek School
Abstract:
This research aimed to :1) compare the learning achievement in dramatic arts subject in Ban Laem Dramatic Style Dance for Secondary 2 (Grade 8) students before and after learning by using Davies Instructional Model for Psychomotor Domain, and 2) study the skills in dramatic arts subject in Ban Laem Dramatic Style Dance of Secondary 2 (Grade 8) students using Davies Instructional Model for Psychomotor Domain compared with the quality criteria of 80%.
The samples consisted of 30 Secondary 2 (Grade 8) students of Wat Pa Pruek School in the first semester of academic year 2020. The research instruments include 1) 6 lesson plans for dramatic arts subject, and 2) the learning assessment and evaluation forms, including a 20-item pre- and post-learning assessment form and a skill assessment form.
The research results revealed that: 1) learning achievement of Secondary 2 (Grade 8) students in Ban Laem Dramatic Style Dance after learning was higher than before learning at a statistically significant level of .05, and 2) the studentslearning achievement in skills in Ban Laem Dramatic Style Dance was 87.42% which was higher than 80% of the quality criteria.
