Abstract:
This research is mixed method purpose of this research was to study chemical behavior rice cultivation of rice farmers in Maepuem Sub-district, Muang District, Phayao Province. The sample 2 groups were 294 farmers for questionnaire and 50 farmers for blood transfusion and interview. The instruments included study were questionnaires, interviews and blood screening for choline esters. Analyze data using frequency, percentage, mean standard deviation and Chi-Square. The results showed that some of the behaviors and practices were improper. The illnesses found after using chemicals were red eyes, sore eyes, sore throat, coughing easily, burning nose, headache, dizziness and skin rash. Farmers tested for levels cholinesterase enzyme in the blood indicate that 24.0% were at risk detected as unsafe level, 34.0% were at risk level, 26.0% were at safe level and 16.0% The hypothesis test were personal factors by age and monthly income of rice farmers relationship to chemical behavior rice cultivation of rice farmers and blood cholinesterase enzyme in blood relationship to chemical behavior rice cultivation of rice farmers in Maepuem Sub-district, Muang District, Phayao rovince.
