The effects of7e learning cycle with problem - based learning on scientific problem -solving and learning achievement in the topic of genetic transmission for mattayomsuksa three students
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study effects of 7E learning cycle with Problem - Based Learning on scientific problem - solving and learning achievement in the topic of genetic transmission for Mattayomsuksa three students. The sample for this research consisted of 40 mattayomsuksa three students of Phothisamphanphithayakhan School, Chonburi province in the first semester of academic year 2021. They were randomly selected for participating in the experiment using cluster random sampling method. The research instruments consisted of lesson plan, learning achievement test and scientific problem - solving test. Mean, Standard Deviation, and t - test were used to analyze the data. The research findings were summarized as follows: 1. The post - test mean scores of scientific problem - solving ofgrade 9 students after using study effects of 7E learning cycle withProblem - Based Learning were statistically significanthigher than pre - test mean scores at the .05 level. 2. The post - test mean scores of scientific problem - solving ofgrade 9 students after using study effects of 7E learning cycle withProblem - Based Learning were statistically significanthigher than 70 percent criterion at the .05 level. 3. The post - test mean scores of learning achievement of grade 9 students after using study effects of 7E learning cycle withProblem - Based Learning were statistically significant higher than pre - test mean scores at the .05 level. 4. The post - test mean scores of learning achievement of grade 9 students after using study effects of 7E learning cycle withProblem - Based Learning were statistically significant higher than 70 percent criterion at the .05 level.
