Abstract:
This research aimed to study the quality of student life in the Faculty of Liberal Arts,
Princess of Naradhiwas University. The population was 113 students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts.
The research instruments consisted of 2 parts: a personal data questionnaire, and the WHOQOLBREF-THAI, by the Department of Mental Health, contained 26 questions. The tool was a
questionnaire with Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from .75 to 1.00 and Cronbach Alpha
Coefficient Reliability of .86. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and F-test.
The results of this study revealed that most of the populations were English program
students representing 82.3 percent, and 69 percent of students were female. 65.5 percent of
students was revealed that their grades were in a moderate level. In an aspect of residence, 59.3
percent of students lived at home. 61.1 percent of students were found that familys financial was
at a moderate level. Overall, the quality of student life in the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Princess
of Naradhiwas University was at a moderate level ( = 91.74,  = 0.91). When considering in
an aspect of individual, it was found that the results were at a moderate level in physical health,
mental health, social relationships, and environment. The comparing results of the mean scores
found that gender, major of study, residence, and grade point average were different; however, it
did not make the students' quality of life different. On the other hand, receiving different amount
of allowance made the quality of student life different.
