Abstract:
The purpose of this research were to compare the students knowledge in
the contents of the waterway safety for students through the infographic animation
developing and the usual method, and to study the students satisfaction toward the
infographic animation in the contents of the waterway safety. For this study was the
QuasiExperimental research, followed the experiment along PretestPosttest Control
group design, the subjects were divided into two groups as the experimental group
consisting of 15 students and the control group consisting of 15 students by stratified
sampling and random sampling to withdraw the equal sample number from the
students in grade 4, 5, and 6. The 3 kinds of the tools that were used, was
1) the infographic animation in the contents of the water safety which had been
approved by the 3 experts with the IOC as 0.89. 2) the knowledge evaluation test in the
contents of water safety with the IOC as 0.97 and the reliability by Cronbrachs Alpha
Coefficient as 0.68 which the 23 items were analyzed for difficulty in each item and the
items with the difficulty between 0.20-0.80 and the discrimination between 0.201.00
were chosen as 20 items. 3) the questionnaire regarding the satisfaction toward the
infographic animation that had been considered for IOC as 0.89 and the reliability as
0.73. The statistic in the data analyze was Means, Standard Deviations. Also t-test
dependent and t-test independent were used to compare the difference of the
knowledge scores Means.
The research result was found that, The effect of the knowledge in the content
of the water safety through the infographic animation of the primary students was
showed that, there was significance difference between the means of the pre-test and
post-test of the contents of the water safety at the level .05. Besides, the means of the
points between the control group and the experimental group before the experiment
were not different, while there was significant different after the experiment at the
level .05 . The satisfaction effect of the primary students of toward the learning by using
infographic animation in the contents of waterway safety was in the high level by means
of 2.71 and the standard deviation as 0.41.
