Abstract:
This research was inspired by changes in values in Thai society with emphasis on materialsrather than the mind. Individuals have too many needs affecting both themselves and others.
The purpose of the research was to realize the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy and to design a two-dimensional animation reflecting the philosophy. On the basis of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophyon the principle of Three Circles and Two Conditions, the animation was then composed of modesty, reasonableness, immunity, knowledge and virtue. The results of the study were used in the animation production. The research methodology included an application of iPad by Procreate, LumaFusion, and VLLO. Fifty audiences aged 10 to 35 years old participated in this study. The audience was requested to complete questionnaires after they had watched the 2.40-minute animation. The data were analyzed using statistical methods. The research results were concluded that the viewers were satisfied with the animation and could understand the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy at a very good level. In addition, their satisfactions with the techniques used in the creation of the 2D animation and the digital painting technique were between high and very high levels
