Abstract:
This study was a mixed method research whose objective was to study the guidelines for establishing a consulting center or business training institute, appropriate curriculum, requirements and registration fee for training of government and private agencies in People's Democratic Republic. In qualitative research ,in-depth interviews were conducted to 25 people. The results were analyzed with Statistics Package for the Social Sciences. For quantitative research, questionnaires were collected from the sample group which consisted of 411 businessmen and personnel in public and private sectors in the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Classification technique and multiple correspondence were used for data analysis. For qualitative research, results could be summarized as 11 factors, and were used to create the model for connecting the research results in the direction of establishing a training and business consulting center. In the analysis of group classification, it could be concluded that the 7 skills which included work skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, customer skills, business skills and analytical skills, could well identify training topics in each course. In addition, multiple cprrespondence technique was used to analyze 9 types of training model, based on four characteristics which included employees characteristics, executive characteristics, characteristics of private business organizations and government organizations. There were differences according to the multiple-correspondence in order to find a suitable training registration fee. The suggestions of the research were as follows: 1) The focus should be on creating a network of funding for the establishment. 2) Alliances with the government should be initiated. 3) There should be partnership with the ministries, various departments, the Lao Business Association and private companies in the form of a mutual agreement (MOU).
