Abstract:
Psychological Well-being [PWB] at workplace is an aspect of well-being which reflects employees quality of life. This includes Emergency Medical Technicians [EMTs]. The purpose of this descriptive correlational research was to examine the relationships between psychosocial factors and PWB at workplace among EMTs.Participants were 100 staff in two foundations in Muang District, Nakhonratchasima. The sample was recruited using a stratified sampling design. Data were collected with a set of questionnaires: ademographic record form, PWB at workplace, public mind, self-esteem, emotional exhaustion, relationship with colleagues, and work-family conflict [WFC]. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and Pearsons product-moment correlation. The results showed that the overall PWB at workplace of EMTs was at a moderate level (X̄= 49.04, SD = 10.10). Correlational analysis found that emotional exhaustion and WFC had high, significant (p < .01) negative relationships with PWB at workplace (r= -0.84 and r= -0.78,
respectively). Relationships with colleagues, public mind and self-esteem had high, significant
(p<.01) positive relationships with PWB at workplace (r= 0.87, r= 0.83 and r= 0.61,
respectively).
The results suggest that foundations administrative members and those involved with
EMTs should concern in promoting relationship with colleagues, public mind and self-esteem, and
