Abstract:
The purpose of this research were to create, to develop simulation program for filters using MATLAB GUI. Compare the learning achievement through the simulation program for filters using MATLAB GUI between experimental group and control group. There are 40 third year students of Engineering Education (Telecommunications Engineering), Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, KMITL, who enrolled the course Electronics for Communications (03376603) in the second semester of academic year 2018 for the sample group. The sample group was divided into two groups which were 20 students for an experimental group and 20 students for a control group. The research tools were simulation program for filters using MATLAB GUI, evaluation form, and achievement tests. The statistics tools used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent samples. The results of this research showed that simulation program for filter circuit by using MATLAB GUI evaluated by the experts the content aspect was considered in the good level. (x̄ = 4.47, S.D. = 0.52) and the media production technique aspect was considered in very good level. (x̄ = 4.56, S.D. = 0.48) The learning achievement of the student of the experimental group through simulation program for filter circuit by using MATLAB GUI was higher than the students of the control group at a statistical level at 0.05. The samples satisfaction towards simulation program for filter circuit by using MATLAB GUI was high. (x̄ = 4.42,S.D. = 0.63)
