States and Guidelines for Promoting to Use InformationTechnology for Secondary School Administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 33
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the use of information technology for secondary school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 33.
2) to compare the use of information technology for school management following the opinions of administrators and teachers classified by working experience and school size3) to study guidelines for promoting to use information technology for school management. Two phases were implemented in this study. Phase 1 was to study using information technology for school management under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 33.The sample consisted of 70 school directors and 341 teachers totaling 411 using multi-stage random sampling. Material used was on line questionnaire. Statistics used were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested by using t-test and the analysis of variance in term of one-way ANOVA. Phase 2 was to find guidelines for promoting to use information technology for secondary school directors Five experts were selected by purposive sampling. Material used was interviewed form. The data were analyzed by using content analysis.
The results of the research were :
1. the study of the use of information technology for secondary school directors under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 33was in overall at a high level, the academic management was ranked at the highest level and the lowest was personnel management.
2. The comparison of opinions between the school directors and teachers toward information technology classified by work experience and school size was significantly different at the statistical level of .05
3. The guidelines to promote the use of information technology of the secondary school directors were found that.1) Website was used to create a database of local wisdom, the preparation of the database, and local wisdom blog. 2) SESA system was used to collect school materials and facilities. 3) A manual for fingerprint, face and temperature scanning for collecting data about working attendance of the teachers and educational personnel was used via Electronic Correspondence System (My office). 4) students data were collected via online system for helping them.
