Abstract:
The purposes of this research are to study the self concept of drug users and to bring the results to be guideline in solving this problem of the juvenile delinquency. Interview questionnaires were used to collect data of 200 cases from the youth drug users in the Central Observation and Protection Center and used In-depth Interview for 10 cases. The statistical tools used in analyzing the tata are percentage arithmetic average standard deviation and t-test with the significant level at 0.05. The results of research found that the relationship between different variables of the sample group and their self concept scores are different in statistical significance as follows :- 1. Youth, who has lower education level got higher self concept scores about his body more than one who has higher education level 2.Youth, who got experience in using drug less than 2 years got self-concept scores about his body, personal life, society and drug addict appearance much more than one who got expenence in drug user more than 2 years. 3.The first offence youth got self-concept higher than the recidivism got.
