Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the opinions of the panel experts and to present proposed features of computer-assisted instruction lessons on the internet. The samples were 27 experts computer-assisted instruction and the internet Delphi technique was used for data collection. The structure used to collect data were questionnaires and interview. Five specified experts confirmed results the findings. The statistics used to analyze data were percentage, median, interquartile range, average value and standard deviation. The findings revealed that: Appropriate features of computer-assisted instruction lessons on the internet were: 1) Appropriate fonts should be normal type with the size between 10 - 20points such as AngsanaUPC, CordiaUPC, BrowalliaUPC, JasmineUPC, Arial, Helvetica and etc. There should not be more than 8 - 10 space lines within one screen frame. Same font types should be used throughout the lesson; 2) Two and three dimension of cartoon, video clip and comics were recommended. There should not be more than 3 pictures within one screen frame. Appropriate background was faded embossed; 3) There should not be more than 3 colors within one screen frame. The background color should be considered when deciding foreground color; 4) Icons were recommended as navigational aids; 5) Pull down and scroll bar were found to be two appropriate techniques for data searching. Underlined text with the hand pointer tool were found to be appropriate cue for hypertext. There should not be more than 3 levels of branching.
