Abstract:
Soil quality analysis by measuring the amount of key nutrients in the soil by using chemicals to determine the amount of nutrients in the soil. However, chemicals are expensive and have complicated procedures. This research has invented a system to measure soil fertility displayed via a web application which offers simple and fast work. There are two parts working together. First, a soil fertility measure tool that responsible for soil quality checks, then calculates the amount of fertilizer as appropriate for each plant type. The results of soil quality inspection and fertilizer calculation will be sent to the database. The next part is a web application. It is a section for displaying previous soil quality inspection data. Users can print a report out as well. From the experimental results by using 10 soil sets comparing the equipment of soil fertility measurement systems displayed via web applications, it can be concluded that the soil fertility measurement system is displayed through a web application that can work efficiently with an average accuracy rate of 95 percent.
