Abstract:
This research aims to construct and evaluate the performance of the external cover production package of the energy efficiency standard cook stove which dimensions are following the standard of department of alternative energy development and efficiency. The external cover package consisted of cover bottom oven stamping set, handle stamping set, knocking board set for top oven forming, knocking set for cover stove, knocking handle stove set.
The results showed that capacity and production time of high energy efficiency cook stove are higher than traditional cook stove. There were three replications in this research by consideration each stage and tool which used in the production. The results showed that the cover bottom oven stamping set can be produced at average 120 pieces per hour, the handle stamping set can be produced at average 150 pieces per hour, the knocking board set for top oven forming can be produced at average 24 pieces per hour, knocking set for external cover stove set can be produced at average 18 pieced per hour. However, if the external cover production package was used to produce the high energy cook stove, the average production timing for 1 stove was 6.7 minute or 9 stoves per hour.
The investigation results according to department of energy criterion (the top and the bottom width dimension of stove are 32 and 22 cm, respectively. The height of external cover excluding stove base is 26.5 cm) found that if producers follow the high energy efficiency cook stove instruction of this research, this cook stove will be achieved the department of energy standard and can be if with standard cook stove.
The result of satisfaction or trainees for training and demonstration of production package of high energy efficiency cook stove showed that the trainees satisfaction was in good level (x ̅ = 4.44, S.D. = 0.38)
