Abstract:
The purposes of this study were: 1. to find the effectiveness of Listening Online
Exercise based on the CEFR criteria; 2. to compare the English listening communication skill
achievement of the sample after receiving the English listening online exercises based on CEFR
criteria at Level B2; and 3. to study the satisfaction of the sample towards to the listening online
exercises based on CEFR criteria.
The sample was 78 first year of diploma students at Thai- Austrian Technical College,
Chon Buri recruited through a stratified random sampling. They were equally divided into two
groups: an experimental group and a control group. The employed research instruments were:
1. listening skill exercises online based on CEFR criteria (8 chapters); 2. a multiple-choice
listening achievement test for communication through Google Classroom.; and 3. a students
satisfaction questionnaire. Statistical applications used in data analysis were: E1
/ E2
efficiency,
mean, percentage, dependent and independent t-tests.
The findings were follows: 1. the English listening online exercises based on CEFR
criteria had the efficiency E1
/E2
followed the criterion 80/80 which was 80.80/82.67; 2. the
achievement of English listening skills based on CEFR at B2 level. The experimental group
received English online listening exercises based on CEFR. Afterusing theonline exercise the
experimental group was higher than the control group; and 3.the students satisfaction towards the
listening online exercises based on CEFR criteria was at a high level.
