Abstract:
This research is the study and design of flexible antenna. That can be installed together with the textile materials used to produce different types of clothing for wearable. The development of a flexible antenna that is suitable for use with clothing will be able to be used with communication networks in the smart city which will make communication between people in the city of genius more convenient. The result of this research is that the antenna is flexible and can be installed together with the textile materials used to make various types of clothing for direct wear, making the production and use more convenient. In the design process, it is necessary to study the changes in the properties of the antenna caused by the installation of the antenna on various textile materials which will have different qualities. The considers the frequency response of the antenna, the gain, including the wave propagation pattern which is considered one of the important factors in antenna design that can be analyzed and used in the design to increase the efficiency of the antenna while being used. Initially cover the frequency band of the wireless local area network system The antenna is designed on a flexible fabric and the design of the proposed antenna will use a program to adjust the size of the antenna to be suitable by considers the return loss and antenna gain rate to be less than -10 dB at the operating frequency for the wireless local area network on the human body at the frequency of 2.45 GHz.
