The perception of organizational justice and corporate social responsibility for human resource affecting to organizational citizenship behavior : An empirical research of migrant laborers in chemical fertilizer industry in Thailand
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to study the different individual factors of the migrant labourers in the chemical fertilizer industry in Thailand with differently organizational citizenship behaviours. Besides, to evaluate their perceptions of organizational justice and the corporate social responsibility for the human resources affecting their behaviours. The samples were the migrant labourers from five chemical fertilizer companies in Thailand. There were 384 questionnaires distributed to collect data. The statistics for the hypotheses test were t test, One Way ANOVA and enter multiple regression analysis. The study found that the distinct individual factors, including age ; monthly average income ; working experiences in Thailand ; and enterprises led to different organizational citizenship behaviours. The distinct genders and working experiences in the chemical fertilizer industry in Thailand led to indifferent organizational citizenship behaviours. The perceptions of organizational justice, including earnings; procedures and interactions, had statistically significant effects on the organizational citizenship behaviours. While social responsibility for the human resources including employment and employment relationships ; employment conditions and social protection ; social dialogue ; occupational health and safety ; personnel development and training also had the statistically significant effects on the organizational citizenship behaviours. The findings can be used as the guidelines for setting relevant policies about the migrant labourers to retain them to work with the organization further.
