The 388 samples were children and youths in a girl junior high school in Bangkok the research uses conducted via questionnaires. The results revealed that the victims of online sexual harassment were characterized as female, underage, studying in the lower educational levels, with poor grades, poor family relations, ongoing seeking of new friends, posting statements, pictures, sensuality, and often posting self-daily routine work in the day, spending a long time on online chats, disclosing private data to the public, parents or guardians not knowing about using the internet, absence of oversight, negligence, not training or warning about unknown people on the internet and using internet or online chat applications. Therefore, parents or guardians should be more attentive to observe the internet use of their children, learning or searching information about how to prevent their improper use of the internet while taking an interest in learning knowledge and understanding about the internet and having a rightful attitude over finding new friends through online chat applications. At the same time, educational institutions, government agencies and media involved should educate parents or guardians, having children and youths under their care, to be aware of the dangers in using online chat applications. This includes protecting them from online harassment, which involved having measures to secure personal data of internet users of online chat applications, while enforcing measures of strict punishment in cases of harassment on the internet.
