Relationship between Participatory Management of School Principals and Motivation in Work Performance of Teachers in the Sudtinthai Secondary School Consortium, The Secondary Educational Service Area 36
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the directors participative management of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36 2) to study the teachers motivation in work of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36 and 3) to study the relationship between the directors participative management and the teachers motivation in work of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36. The 205 teacher of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36 were included as a sample. Data was collected by a questionnaire of 5 level to analyze the frequency, the percentage, the standard deviation and Pearsons product moment correlation, which got the confidence interval at 0.967. The results of this research were as follows: 1) The directors participative management of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36 was rated at high level in overall, the average was ranking from high to low as follows; the participation in operations, the participation in decision making, the participation in receiving benefits and the participation in evaluation. 2) The teachers motivation factors in work of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36 were rated at high level in overall. When we considered each factors; the overall of motivations in work were rated in high level; the average ranking from high to low as follows; the achievement was the highest average and the advancement was the lowest average. The hygiene factors were rated at high level in overall; the average ranking from high to low as follows; the status was the highest average and the personal life was the lowest average. 3) The relationship between the directors participative management and the teachers motivation in work of Sudtinthai secondary school consortium, the secondary service area 36 was statistically significant at 0.01 level, that was positive and the relationship was high level.
