Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling writing for grade 8 students to meet an efficiency criterion of 80/80, 2) to compare students achievement after learning with computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling writing to meet a 60 % criterion and 3) to study the satisfaction of students toward learning with computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling writing. The sample of this study was a group of 30 grade 8 students in Bangsadejwittayakom School and Wat Sakawe School, Ang Thong studying in the second semester of the academic year 2012, selected by multi-stage random sampling. The instruments in this study were the computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling writing for grade 8 students, the Thai learning achievement test which the reliability was 0.77 and the satisfaction questionnaire and learning management plans. The statistics to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation and one sample t-test.The results were as follows:1.The computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling writing for grade 8 students was 84.40/83.00 which met the set criterion of 80/80.2.The Thai learning achievement of grade 8 students after learning with computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling Writing was higher than 60% criterion at the 0.05 level of statistical significance. 3.The level of students satisfaction toward learning with computer assisted instruction in Thai language on word spelling writing for grade 8 students was at the highest level.
