Abstract:
The purpose of the dissertation: (1) to study the issue or problems, which encountered
difficulties from Chinese tourist at Shopping Mall in Thailand (In case of Central World), (2) to
find out the insufficiented of UI design and inconformity of requirement ,which will lead to bad
user experience when shopping in Thailand through tourist mobile application, (3) to study
shopping psychology, behavior and custom of Chinese tourist and make a mobile shopping
application UI design, which met Chinese Tourist shopping requirement, (4) to summarize the
concept and methodology of mobile shopping application UI design via design process, inorder
to make reference function for other mobile shopping application design in or about Thailand.
The questionnaire has covered personal factors, psychological factors, cultural factors,
social factors, and mobile application factors and mobile shopping application whenuse in
Central World. In order to focus on the particular information of Chinese tourist, we issued 400
questionnaire. The result not only help explaining about shopping psychology, behavior and
preference, but also helps Chinese tourist user experience of centric mobile shopping application
UI design Chinese tourist when they shopping at Central World.
Therefore the application user interface ( short for UI hereinafter),showed as better
design solution. The travel shopping time distribution ratio is about 25% -49% which indicate that
the tourist shopping time is not enough when they travel. Therefore, a design for the Central
World interior GPS shopsguidance and famous commodity recommendated in the shopping
Application of each UI features design.
As a result , The analysis data about the interviewer that psychological factors, social
factors, mobile application factors and mobile shopping application when tourist using at Central
World factors is in the high-level which is means the average score is over 3.41. All the information can be analyzedto reveal the user information and consumption habits. The design
then applied to the six features in the shopping application UI features designing, makes the
shopping APP UI design more intelligent and humane. Most importantly, the final proposed
application can be more convenient for the user. It will also pass the authenticate of UI designing
expert and designate a kind of UI designing for the user-trial experience, which make a mobile
shopping application product by programmer more effective
